About Combs Law

Jessica Lynn Combs is a registered patent attorney and the founder of Combs Law, LLC. She is licensed to practice law in Indiana and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where she helps inventors, researchers, startups, and established companies protect the ideas at the heart of their work.

Before founding Combs Law, Jessica spent 25 years in the biotech industry, working on life-sciences technology and the commercialization of research. With a master's degree in chemistry, she brings a scientist's eye to intellectual property: she understands how an invention actually works — and how a strong IP strategy supports real business goals. Clients work directly with her from first conversation through filing and beyond, with clear communication and no layers in between.
